This position is a high-level resource with advanced technical knowledge that actively engages in cross-market efforts to improve operational effectiveness and efficiencies across the company. Other responsibilities include vendor management, scheduling and documentation control. Must build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Technical Assistance Associate team (TAC) and provide training across the region or markets.\nKey Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions\n24x7 facility on-call responsibility\nMonitor and maintain the operations, maintenance, and repair of all mission-critical equipment and systems supporting 24x7 data center operations to achieve 99.999% uptime and 100% compliance with all customer SLAs\nVendor relationship management\nRead and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, project plans, and other technical documents\nDrive change toward operational excellence goals\nIdentify constraints and propose solutions\nLead disaster recovery \"dry run\" exercises\nAssist in commissioning efforts in multiple markets and provide high-level input\nMaintain AHJ requirements\nMaintain and implement change windows in accordance with company policies\nAssist in the provisioning of power for customer orders and other electrical modifications as assigned while maintaining a safe work environment\nAssist with off-hours and weekend maintenance activities when required\nAssist with reports on customer utilization, including space and power\nCreate, read, and prepare Method of Procedures (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all maintenance and operational aspects of the data center\nPerform rounds of assigned facility(s) to ensure proper equipment operation, aesthetics, and cleanliness\nMonitoring and alerting of facility equipment\nPerform other duties as assigned by management\nRequired Qualifications\n5 years of data center experience\n5+ years of experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting/problem solving\nExperience working with building automation\n5+ years of experience within a critical infrastructure environment\nUnderstanding of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations, including:Feeders\nTransformers\nGenerators\nSwitchgear\nUPS systems\nATS units\nPDU units\nChillers\nPumps\nAir handling units\nCRAH units\n\nApplicable military experience\nApplicable trade experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nElectrical or mechanical certifications\nAssociate's degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline\n8+ years of experience working in data centers with an emphasis on building and equipment operation\nMeets/exceeds functional and technical depth and complexity requirements\nCompensation: Base Pay Range: $45.00-$50.00 per hour.
