This includes:\nPlanning, preparation and delivery of engaging learning and teaching programs for Young People in the middle and secondary phase of education.\nCreating flexible, innovative curriculum to engage Young People.\nPlanning and implementing class and individual learning programs that meet legislative requirements and support Young People with diverse learning needs and disabilities.\nContributing to the development and implementation of the EREAFSL objectives and planning.\nWorking collaboratively with all staff to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment and develop learning experiences that reflect classroom diversity and cater for individual learning needs.\nApplying the EREAFSL Flexi Practice Framework, including Common Ground, Operation by Principles, Trauma Aware Practice, Collaborative Problem Solving and culturally responsive approaches to support engagement, inclusion and learning outcomes for Young People.\nProactively building relationships with Young People, families/carers, and the community to ensure the best outcomes are achieved for each Young Person.\nThese expectations of the Teacher are shaped by the four touchstones of the EREA Charter, being:\nGospel Spirituality;\nInclusive Community;\nLiberating Education; and\nJustice and Solidarity.\nABOUT YOU:\nESSENTIAL:\nBachelor of Education (Primary or Secondary). \nQueensland Teacher Registration Certificate.\nA current First Aid certificate or ability to obtain.\nA current Driver Licence.\nDemonstrated successful teaching experience, normally including at least three years of professional practice.\nHigh-level written and verbal communication skills and high-level interpersonal skills, including a capacity to develop constructive relationships with Young People, community and staff.\nHIGHLY DESIRABLE:\nProven leadership experience, both strategic and operational, characterised by strong organisational, administrative, communication, and leadership skills, particularly in relation to areas outlined in this position.\nAbility to diagnose problems, foresee potential issues and devise appropriate responses.\nAbility to lead, work in, and collaborate across teams with integrity and humility.\nDemonstrated ability to build collaborative partnerships with families, support staff and external agencies to improve outcomes for Young People.\nDemonstrated experience developing innovative curriculum and the ability to make adjustments and differentiate.\nDemonstrated experience and knowledge in teaching processes, frameworks and practice.\nDemonstrated ability to monitor and assess Young People learning data.\nExperience supporting Young People with disability, diverse learning needs and Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) processes within inclusive educational settings.\nUnderstanding of and commitment to the values of a Catholic educational system of schools in the Edmund Rice tradition.\nWHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU\nProfessional development opportunities\nSalary sacrificing benefits, including FBT exempt payments of up to $15,900 p/a\nEdmund Rice charism\n12.75% Superannuation contribution\nAccess to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)\nHOW TO APPLY (Please upload documents in PDF format)\nTo apply, please click apply to access our external application portal.
