This is not a small, tired operation - it is a well-organised independent garage with a steady flow of work and a genuine focus on customer service.\nThis role will suit either an experienced workshop controller who is reliable and organised, and ready to take ownership of the day to day operations within the workshop.\nThe role will involve:\nAllocate service, repair and diagnostic work to technicians based on their skill set\n\nMonitor individual technician performance and ensuring jobs are completed\n\nAct as the technical bridge for the service advisors, providing updates so the customers can be kept up to date\n\nLiaising with technicians to keep track of work in progress\n\nOverseeing quality control checks on all completed work, ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop satisfied\n\nTo oversee the parts coordination by monitoring the arrival of parts and ensuring technicians have everything required to do the job\n\nTo be able to motivate, mentor and manage the workshop team\n\nMaking sure customers receive a professional and well-managed experience throughout\n\nWe are looking for:\nPrevious experience as a Service Advisor, or a customer-focused background within the motor trade\n\nStrong communication and customer service skills\n\nGood organisation and the ability to manage a busy workload\n\nConfidence in dealing with customers in a professional way\n\nAutomotive or mechanical knowledge would be an advantage\n\nA positive attitude and willingness to learn\n\nWhat is on offer:\n£32,000-£45,000 salary depending on experience\n\nMonday to Friday
