We’re looking for detail-oriented professionals to join our Accounts Payable team, supporting Flexport’s Southeast Asia operations through either high-volume invoice processing or specialised freight auditing. You’ll validate invoices against contracts, rate agreements, and shipment records, and work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, sharp attention to detail, and experience in accounts payable or freight auditing.\nWhat You’ll Do\nInvoice Processing & Freight Audit\nEnter a high volume of invoices with timeliness and accuracy\nReview and validate freight invoices against contracts, rate agreements, and shipment records, identifying and resolving discrepancies in rates, surcharges, accessorial charges, and billing\nContribute to reconciliation efforts and, for senior roles, assist in training team members on vendor auditing processes\nVendor & Stakeholder Collaboration\nCollaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies efficiently\nMaintain professional, proactive communication with vendors to ensure timely dispute resolution\nCompliance & Record Keeping\nMaintain accurate financial records, audit findings, and transaction documentation within AP and ERP systems\nEnsure adherence to company policies, contractual terms, and regulatory requirements in freight auditing\nProcess Improvement\nSupport the implementation of automation tools and identify opportunities to streamline invoice processing, improve workflows, and reduce manual errors\nWhat You’ll Bring\nDegree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field\n3 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, finance, data entry, or logistics/freight auditing\nUnderstanding of invoice matching, shipment records, freight rate structures, and accessorial charges\nStrong ability to identify discrepancies, analyse root causes, and recommend effective solutions\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)\nKnowledge of financial controls, regulatory requirements, and company audit metrics\nEffective written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external vendors\nAbility to work in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders\nFamiliarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) and audit tools such as KBS is a plus\nCommitment to Equal Opportunity\nAt Flexport, our ability to fulfill our mission of making global commerce easy and accessible relies on having a diverse, dedicated and engaged workforce.
