Come join us.\nThe Opportunity: \nIndonesia is one of Flexport’s newest and fastest growing markets, and you’ll be our first commercial hire here. You’ll set the tone and the standard for how Flexport sells and serves clients in Indonesia. The commercial organization we build will rest on the foundation you lay, so your work will shape the business for years.\nYou’ll work independently from day one and meet the high standards of our global commercial team. We need a self-starter who sees what the market needs and acts on it.\nYou’ll be the main driver of our growth in Indonesia. You’ll build new client relationships, deepen existing ones, and find the places in a client’s supply chain where Flexport can add value. You’ll own a book of business and the long-term relationship with each client. You’ll show clients what Flexport offers, then build solutions that move their business forward. Flexport’s global teams will work alongside you to deliver for clients in Indonesia, across Asia, and around the world.\nAs our team grows, you will also manage and mentor Account Managers on your team and shape how they grow.\nYou will:\nLead the growth plan for your book of business. You’ll generate leads, turn them into opportunities, and develop solutions for clients.\nDraw on each client’s goals, their industry, and Flexport’s services to close and deliver new solutions that deepen the relationship.\nAct as your clients’ trusted advisor. You’ll advocate for their needs inside Flexport and find solutions that work for both sides.\nRun regular touchpoints and business reviews that show clients the value they get and open the door to new opportunities and stronger retention.\nWork with Operations, Procurement, Implementation, industry specialists, and Trade and Financial Services to build and carry out each client’s strategy.\nFollow industry and supply chain developments, so you can guide clients through change.\nMonitor client health and act early to improve outcomes and meet Flexport’s business goals.\nHelp clients improve operational processes and streamline their supply chains.\nMaster the Flexport platform and teach clients how to get the most from it.\nGive Gateway Operations feedback, so client needs get met.\nSolve problems and escalate when you need to.\nYou should have: \nA bachelor’s or master’s degree.\nAt least eight years in sales, account management, and supply chain operations, ideally in a manager or team lead role.\nA background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain (preferred).\nIndependence and initiative.
