Technical Program Manager II, Omnichannel

The opportunity:

Omnichannel team is looking for a Technical Program Manager II to deliver cross-functional programs and lead the growth of business across Omnichannel organization. Omnichannel Technology powers critical areas including inbound, inventory, fulfillment, warehouse systems, carrier networks, parcel, and B2B/D2C distribution. These domains are highly interconnected and require strong coordination across Engineering, Product, Operations, and merchant-facing teams.

In this role, you will serve as a highly visible leader responsible for driving the communication, coordination, and execution of programs across their full lifecycle. You will partner closely with senior product and engineering leaders to define roadmaps, manage dependencies, secure resources, and ensure commitments are delivered on time. You will also establish processes that strengthen teamwork, communication, collaboration, and accountability across diverse teams with competing priorities. Beyond internal execution, you will engage directly with key merchants to understand their feedback, address concerns and escalations, and coordinate across Flexport to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

You will

• Lead high-impact technology programs spanning multiple engineering teams, product domains, and business functions.
• Define clear goals, milestones, owners, dependencies, and success metrics.
• Build realistic program plans and hold teams accountable to committed deliverables.
• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and conflicts and drive them to resolution.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and align roadmaps across Engineering, Product, and Operations.
• Provide clear visibility into program progress, risks, decisions, and trade-offs.
• Drive launch readiness, operational readiness, migrations, and other critical cross-functional initiatives.
• Support annual and quarterly planning, including prioritization, estimation, capacity planning, and resource alignment.
• Establish effective processes that improve execution and predictability across the Omnichannel organization.

• Act as a trusted technical partner for key merchants using Flexport's Omnichannel products and services.
• Regularly engage with merchants to understand their experience, feedback, concerns, technical challenges, and escalations.
• Develop a strong understanding of Flexport's Omnichannel technology so you can effectively diagnose and contextualize merchant problems.
• Triage merchant issues and coordinate across Engineering, Product, Operations, Support, and other teams to drive timely resolution.
• Proactively manage merchant expectations and maintain clear communication throughout critical issues and escalations.
• Identify recurring merchant pain points and translate them into actionable product, technology, or operational improvements.

You Should Have

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering, product, technical account management, or a related technology role.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs across multiple engineering teams.
• Strong program planning, execution, dependency management, and risk management skills.
• Ability to understand complex technical systems and effectively partner with engineering leaders.
• Experience working directly with customers or enterprise clients, including managing technical issues and escalations.
• Strong ability to translate customer problems into clear technical and operational actions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across both internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to influence and drive execution without direct authority.
• Strong ownership, judgment, and bias toward action.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and bring structure to complex problems.
• A data-driven mindset and strong focus on measurable outcomes.
• Experience in logistics, fulfillment, e-commerce, warehouse technology, transportation, or large-scale platform programs is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

A successful Omnichannel TPM makes complex programs easier to execute and merchant relationships easier to manage.

They create clarity, identify risks early, align teams around shared goals, and ensure critical initiatives deliver measurable outcomes. They also build strong relationships with merchants, understand their challenges, and ensure Flexport responds quickly and effectively when issues arise.

The goal is not more process - it is better execution, stronger accountability, and a better merchant experience across Flexport's Omnichannel network.
