Our team is responsible for the development of the firm’s flagship, buy-side OMS.\nResponsibilities:\nYou will work in a fast-paced, financial software development environment and be expected to:\nDesign and implement new features on the product roadmap using technologies including Go, Spark, and data lakehouse services.\nTake initiative and be resourceful in gathering requirements from Project Managers and other sources.\nIdentify and implement performance enhancements in the core product.\nImplement bug fixes and assist with production support as needed.\nCollaborate with other members of the team while proactively solving problems.\nRequirements\nWhile we believe a great developer will pick up and grow skills as needed, the minimum requirements for this job include:\nA Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in CS or a related field.\nAt least 2 years of professional software development experience.\nAdvanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (Scala, Go, etc.).\nA firm understanding of maintainable design concepts and development practices focused on provable correctness.\nExcellent communication skills to articulate ideas, problems, and solutions.\nMotivation and determination to achieve, learn, and grow.\nDesirable Skills:\nExperience with functional programming concepts (Scala is a plus).\nExperience AWS cloud services.\nKnowledge of SQL and relational databases.\nDoes this sound like you?
