The team is responsible for integrations with KYC providers, geolocation services, payment methods, and other external systems that are essential to product operation and user experience.\nOur Stack: Python, Django, Postgres, Redis, Kafka, AWS\nResponsibilities\nProvide leadership for a team\nTake full ownership of backend features and improvements, from design through implementation, deployment, and production support\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Python and Django\nBuild and maintain integrations with external systems, including KYC, geolocation, and payment partners, and other third-party services\nWork closely with product and engineering teams to scope and deliver new integrations\nImplement observability across integration flows, including monitoring, logging, and alerting\nWrite unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability, prevent regressions, and improve overall test coverage and testing practices\nSupport production issues and participate in on-call rotations\nRequirements\nExperience leading and managing a team of at least 3 engineers\nAt least 5+ years of development experience, with Python as the primary language and strong experience in API and system integrations\nProven experience integrating third-party APIs, with deep understanding of webhooks, callbacks, idempotency, and failure handling.
