About the Role
As the Senior Project Officer - Education Pathways, you will play a key role in developing, implementing and strengthening pathways into the Flinders Medical Program, with a particular focus on the Indigenous Entry Stream and Rural Entry Pathway. Working closely with academic leaders, professional staff and external stakeholders, you will lead strategic education projects, coordinate complex program activities, and drive initiatives that support increased participation and success for students from rural, remote and Indigenous communities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful educational outcomes and workforce development across South Australia and the Northern Territory.
This position can be based at any Flinders Rural and Remote campus across South Australia or the Northern Territory.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and coordinate the delivery, enhancement and ongoing success of the Indigenous Entry Stream and Rural Entry Pathway programs across multiple campuses and locations.
Manage end-to-end program operations, including participant engagement, applications, selection processes, enrolments, reporting and stakeholder communications.
Plan and deliver strategic education projects, monitor outcomes, manage risks and provide high-level advice to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with students, academic staff, health services, community organisations and other key stakeholders to achieve sustainable program outcomes.

About You
You are a highly organised and collaborative project professional with experience delivering complex programs and initiatives in a higher education, health, community or related environment. You bring strong project management, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to improving educational opportunities and outcomes for diverse communities. Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team, you thrive in dynamic environments where you can make a meaningful impact.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, with the ability to deliver outcomes within set timeframes and priorities.
Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify improvements and develop practical solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality reports, briefs and stakeholder communications.
Proven ability to build productive relationships and work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including people from diverse cultural and community backgrounds.
Flinders Rural and Remote Health NT
At Flinders Rural and Remote Health NT, our aim is to be a hub for innovative health research, education, and workforce development across the Northern Territory. We engage with students, community, and stakeholders to provide critical programs, such as the Northern Territory Medical Program, Paramedicine, Rural Clinical School, and the University Department of Rural Health.
Our postgraduate education pathways (Remote Health Practice program), provides workforce development through Indigenous health and clinical skills training, and we have a community driven research program led by researchers committed to improving health outcomes. We work alongside Poche SA+NT focussing on Indigenous leadership capacity development and developing the Indigenous health workforce. All activities are driven by our values which focus on the long-term and short-term needs of the NT community.

Flinders Rural and Remote Health SA (FRRHSA) facilitates high quality multidisciplinary health education and research in our State's regional areas.
We have a strong national and international reputation for providing community-engaged inter-professional training for medical, nursing, and allied health students. This includes the SA Rural Medical (SARM) program and multidisciplinary rural clinical placements.
