In this position, you will be responsible for supporting quality control and inspection activities, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of welding processes, inspection techniques, and quality documentation, along with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.\nWhat would you be doing?\nPerform quality control inspections and activities to ensure work meets applicable project specifications, codes, and quality requirements.\nReview and interpret technical drawings, welding procedures, specifications, and other project documentation.\nVerify welding processes, parameters, and inspection requirements throughout fabrication and project execution.\nCoordinate and submit requests for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), including Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), as required.\nReview Material Test Reports (MTRs) and verify material documentation for accuracy and compliance.\nSupport material receiving activities, ensuring materials are properly inspected, documented, and meet project requirements.\nUtilize Bluebeam to review, mark up, and manage technical drawings, inspection records, and quality documentation.\nMaintain accurate inspection records, quality documentation, reports, and supporting records.\nWork closely with project teams, welding personnel, and other stakeholders to address quality concerns and support compliance with applicable standards.\n Minimum experience in Quality Control within oil and gas, structural, or industrial fabrication environments.\nCWB Level 1 certification required at minimum; CWB Level 2 certification considered an asset.\nStrong working knowledge of welding processes, procedures, and inspection techniques.\nFamiliarity with applicable codes and standards, including CSA Z662, ASME B31.3, and CSA W59.\nStrong proficiency in Bluebeam.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, welding documentation, and project specifications.\nExperience with material receiving, welding parameters, NDT requests, and Material Test Report (MTR) reviews.\nFamiliarity with NDT methods, including RT, UT, MT, and PT, considered an asset.\nExcellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and documentation abilities.\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills.\nMeet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements.\nPerks of the job\nCompetitive compensation package with a complete benefits package. \nVariety in your work allows you to develop a diverse skillset. \nLong-term opportunities to provide stability and the potential for growth within the organization, making it a rewarding choice for your professional journey. \nGrowing company with opportunities for career development and advancement. \n This position has been identified as a safety-sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing. \nOur Commitment to Our People\nWhen you join FLINT, we make these promises:\nYour work will matter.
