The Category Management Team is managing strategic supplier relationships, as well as risks, and driving sourcing initiatives focused on value creation and cost efficiency.\nThis internship is full-time (40 hours per week) for 6 months, with the possibility of extension. It is based in Munich (hybrid model, with 3 days per week in the office). \nAbout the Role\nOpportunity to get to know strategic purchasing activities and insights into the entire procurement process\nSupport with tender and inquiry processes as well as the maintenance of supplier and contract data\nPreparation of market research, analysis of offers, and negotiations with suppliers in cooperation with relevant stakeholders\nCreating reports and conducting analyses on supplier contracts, spend, and more\nContribution to the optimization and development of purchasing and supplier management solutions\nCommunication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders\nCooperation with Category Managers on initiatives to drive cost efficiencies\nAbout You\nEnrolled student or graduate in Business, Economics or a similar field\nIdeally first practical experience in procurement, supplier management and development, of a start-up/dynamic company\nFluent in English and German\nProfound experience within MS Office (particularly Word and Excel)\nStrong analytical and communication skills, readiness of mind and attention to detail\nProactive, goal-driven personality, with a dedicated, team-oriented mindset\nEnthusiasm, a high level of initiative as well as high reliability\nNB: Please submit your resume in English!\nWe recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences.
