This is the team for you!\nWrite SOLID, maintainable, flexible, testable, and scalable code\nDesign components and integrations within team scope, considering scalability, maintainability, and reliability\nLead adoption of better engineering practices and adapt workflows for team efficiency\nPrioritise and plan tech debt pay-down with the team; drive strategies to reduce recurring debt\nEnsure team code is observable and design monitoring strategies for new components\nSupport our CI/CD environment and produce a positive impact with each release\nSupport our agile, flexible, team-oriented development to bring the search product to the next level\nAbout You\nBachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant industry experience\n7+ years of commercial experience as a Java Engineer\nStrong experience with Java/JVM-based frameworks such as Micronaut or Spring Boot\nSolution-oriented attitude with a focus on materializing the business vision through technical means\nExperience with k8s and AWS\nExperience with database management systems such as MySQL or similar relational databases\nSolid experience with distributed messaging systems (Kafka or others)\nNice to Have:\nExperience with OpenSearch / Elasticsearch\nExperience with Redis and Terraform\nFamiliarity with CI/CD best practices (unit and integration testing, GitLab CI)\nExperience working with scalable systems handling large volumes of requests/data\nWe recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences.
