You’ll help unlock growth into new market segments, offering insurance solutions for emerging mobility trends, and support our ambition to become one of the UK’s largest fleet MGAs. You’ll also work with AI in the underwriting process itself, using it to pull risk data out of submissions and triage cases faster, which leaves your time for the judgement calls that need an experienced underwriter.\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO FLOCK\nESSENTIAL\nExtensive experience underwriting motor fleet insurance\n\nTrack record of building strong and supportive relationships with insurance brokers\n\nThe ability to collate data and provide support to our Head of Underwriting to enable them to monitor and analyse the portfolio\n\nProvide feedback and continuously improve the process for gathering risk information from our clients, in order to ensure frictionless quoting and onboarding for all clients and brokers\n\nIdentify and surface to our Underwriting Manager areas where we can improve our policy wording and coverage\n\nFollow rapidly evolving market trends, continuously refurbishing your knowledge of cutting-edge products and services in the Motor Fleet\n\nActively train and develop members of the Underwriting and operations teams and to help promote Underwriting knowledge across Flock\n\nComfortable using AI in underwriting work, for example extracting and checking risk information or speeding up quoting, while keeping your own judgement on every decision\n\nPREFERABLE\nExperience in dealing with large corporate customers\n\nACII qualified or working towards\n\nExperience of working closely with product teams to ensure product, process and customer journey enhancements are included within the product roadmap\n\nWHAT WE OFFER (in addition to a competitive salary)\n25 days of holiday (+ Bank Holidays)\n\nShare Incentive Plan\n\nWorkplace Pension\n\nPrivate Medical Insurance (including Dental Optical & Mental Health support options)\n\nVarious Salary Sacrifice Schemes - Holiday Purchase, Tech, Gym, Cycle to Work, Electric Vehicle, Private Medical Insurance for families\n\nEnhanced Parental Leave and Pay\n\n£1000 toward relevant professional qualifications\n\n£500 per annum towards learning and development\n\n3 days paid leave for L&D purposes\n\nWe work hybrid, typically three days a week in our Central London office (fewer office days can be accommodated for longer commute times), a few minutes from Moorgate and Liverpool Street.
