As part of DCC plc, we combine the strength of established market-leading businesses with a commitment to innovation, operational excellence and sustainability, helping customers navigate the energy transition while delivering long-term growth and value.\nAbout the Role\nDCC Energy GB is seeking an experienced D365 CE Project Operations Lead to support, maintain and enhance our recently implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement environment across the EMS division.\nThis is a key role within our Dynamics team, providing expertise across the wider D365 suite including Project Operations, Field Service, Sales and Customer Service applications. You'll lead future migrations, enhancements and implementation activities across multiple EMS businesses, working closely with stakeholders, technical teams and external partners to ensure our Dynamics platform continues to meet evolving business requirements.\nFrom gathering requirements and facilitating workshops through to solution design, testing, training and deployment, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our ongoing digital transformation agenda.\nKey Responsibilities\nDynamics 365 Solution Delivery & Operational Excellence\nBuild, extend and support Dynamics 365 CE applications, including system and data integrations.\nTranslate business requirements into effective functional and technical solutions.\nGather requirements and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders.\nProduce user stories, functional design documentation and business process maps.\nLead solution enhancements, implementations and future migration activities.\nWork closely with support partners and internal teams to design and deliver business change requests and defect resolutions.\nAnalyse, troubleshoot and resolve system and end-user issues.\nSupport integration, regression and user acceptance testing activities.\nLead training initiatives and support a Train-the-Trainer approach across the business.\nCoordinate the creation and maintenance of Dynamics 365 documentation.\nEnsure solutions remain aligned with Microsoft's roadmap, product enhancements and evolving business needs.\nStakeholder Engagement & Leadership\nBuild strong relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams and external partners.\nManage competing stakeholder priorities and expectations effectively.\nConnect the right people and resources to achieve business objectives.\nCommunicate company values, technology strategy and project objectives with confidence and enthusiasm.\nPromote collaboration, flexibility and a positive team-working culture.\nHealth, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities\nPromote a positive Health and Safety culture in line with Safety F1rst principles.\nEnsure compliance with company policies relating to driving on company business.\nWear appropriate PPE when visiting operational sites and customer locations.\nTake responsibility for personal safety and the safety of colleagues and others in the workplace.\nSkills, Qualifications & Experience\nEssential\n5+ years' experience working in a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE functional, technical or consulting role.\nProven experience deploying Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Field Service alongside Dual Write integration with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).\nStrong knowledge of Dynamics 365 applications including:\no Sales\no Project Operations\no Field Service\no Customer Service\no Finance & Operations (Dual Write Capabilities)\nExperience gathering requirements and translating business processes into D365 solutions.\nStrong workshop facilitation skills with the ability to challenge requirements appropriately and manage stakeholder expectations.\nExperience producing user stories, functional design documentation and process maps.\nAbility to lead testing activities and deliver user training.\nUnderstanding of Microsoft Power Apps and wider Power Platform capabilities.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nDesirable\nMicrosoft Dynamics 365 CE Certifications.\nExperience with Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps.\nMicrosoft Power Platform development experience.\nAwareness of Azure cloud services and capabilities.\nKnowledge of emerging Dynamics technologies including Copilot, AI and automation.\nExperience delivering Dynamics projects within the construction, utilities or energy sectors.\nExperience using automated testing tools such as Leapwork.\nWhy Join DCC Energy GB?\nThis is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in the development of our Dynamics 365 ecosystem across the EMS division.\nYou'll join a business committed to digital transformation, working on high-profile projects and future migrations while helping shape the roadmap for one of the organisation's most important technology platforms.\nIf you're passionate about Microsoft Dynamics, enjoy working with stakeholders across the business and want to make a genuine impact in a growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you.\nAt DCC Energy GB, we believe diverse perspectives, experiences and backgrounds strengthen our business and our culture.
