From Drivers to Technicians, Customer Experience experts to Site Managers, Engineers to Electricians, we come together as a team of experts, to do more for our customers\nCompany Van (option for personal use) + Fuel Card + Night out allowance + Overtime (including door to door)\nHow you’ll power our business as a Hazardous Area Electrician.\nAs a Hazardous Area Electrician with Flogas, you will be responsible for building bespoke LPG refuelling stations such as FLT at our manufacturing facility in Staveley, as well as installing and maintaining the network throughout the UK. Additionally, you will support other installations and inspections on customer and internal projects.\nHere’s what you’ll be doing\nWiring up from a starter to the motor on our skids at our manufacturing facility in Staveley, Derbyshire and prepping documentation from templates.\nInstalling supply cables into the Flogas forklift truck skid units at customer sites as well as carrying out initial inspections before being put into service.\nCarrying out Electrical inspections and rectification work to customers Forklift Truck installations throughout the UK.\nLiaising with customers to arrange inspections and subsequently speaking to them to rectify non compliances found from inspections\nWhen required Carrying out Electrical inspections, rectification work and full plant upgrades to Flogas installations throughout the UK.\nWhat we’ll need from you as a Hazardous Area Electrician\nAccredited apprenticeship or comparable qualification (JIB Graded Gold card or above)\n\nCompex modules EX01-4 or IECEx COPC Modules EX001-8\n\nC&G 2391 or, 2391-52 or, 2394 & 2395 Inspection and Testing\n\nC&G 2382-22 18TH Edition\n\nCCSNG/JIB/SSSTS or equivalent Safety passport.\n\nLevel 3 requirements for electrical installations-BS7671:2018. 18th edition\n\nHigh level of IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel & Office.\n\nCommitted, persuasive and personable with fluent written and verbal communication skills\n\nExcellent Fault finding and problem-solving skills\n\nProficient in the preparation and installation of IECEx/Atex rated equipment, including motors, control stations, junction boxes and lighting.\n\nProficient in the installation of Metal Trunking, conduit, and tray, SWA cables and glands. LV distribution equipment and ancillaries\n\nGood understanding of schematic, Loop, P&ID, and zone drawings.\n\nGood understanding of control systems and fault finding.\n\nWhat you’ll get from us\nYou matter.
