Supplying LPG since 1984, it is part of DCC Energy Great Britain, the British energy arm of DCC plc, alongside sister businesses such as Certas Energy, Next Energy and Protech, and it also offers solar and energy-efficiency solutions. Hiring covers tanker, cylinder and barrel delivery drivers, depot and filling operatives, LPG engineers, fleet and maintenance technicians, sales executives, customer care and project staff.

Next Energy is a leading provider of home energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions, helping households access government-backed funding for insulation, heating upgrades, solar panels and battery storage. Working in partnership with local authorities across the UK, we simplify the process for customers by managing applications, surveys and installations from start to finish. As part of DCC Energy, we're committed to helping customers reduce energy costs, improve home comfort and support a more sustainable future.

Help drive the future of funded retrofit and energy efficiency

At Next Energy, we're helping households across the UK access warmer, more energy-efficient homes through government-backed retrofit and renewable energy programmes. As our Marketing Manager for the Grant Funded business, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how we engage residents, local authorities, housing providers and strategic partners, helping deliver meaningful improvements for communities while supporting the UK's Net Zero ambitions.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketer to lead strategic campaigns, strengthen partner engagement and build awareness of funded energy efficiency schemes across a rapidly growing and highly impactful sector.

About Next Energy

Next Energy is a specialist provider of domestic energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements, delivering funded retrofit programmes across the UK. Working across government-backed schemes, including Warm Homes programmes and other local authority and housing-led initiatives, we help households reduce fuel poverty, improve comfort and lower energy consumption.

As part of DCC Energy GB, we combine the strength and stability of a leading energy group with specialist retrofit expertise, local knowledge and a customer-focused approach.

The Role

Reporting into the leadership team, you'll develop and deliver marketing activity for Next Energy's Grant Funded business, supporting growth across domestic retrofit, energy efficiency and renewable energy programmes. You'll work closely with programme leads, sales, operations, partnerships, compliance and the wider marketing team to create engaging campaigns that generate demand, support contract growth and strengthen Next Energy's position as a trusted delivery partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and participation across funded retrofit and energy efficiency programmes.
  • Create compelling communications for residents, Local Authorities, Housing Associations and strategic partners.
  • Support business growth through marketing materials for bids, tenders, contract mobilisation and partner engagement.
  • Build Next Energy's profile through content, PR, social media, thought leadership and customer success stories.
  • Use campaign and customer data to optimise performance, improve lead generation and measure ROI.
  • Manage agencies, stakeholders and marketing resources to ensure projects are delivered effectively and compliantly.
  • Work closely with operational, commercial and programme teams to support contract growth and successful scheme delivery.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in strategic marketing, campaign planning and multi-channel delivery.
  • Experience within energy, housing, public sector, regulated services or other complex B2B2C environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage a broad range of internal and external audiences.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to connect marketing activity to measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information for different audiences.
  • Experience managing projects, agencies and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Understanding of funded retrofit programmes, energy efficiency schemes, housing decarbonisation or fuel poverty initiatives.
  • Experience working with Local Authorities, Housing Associations or other public sector organisations.
  • Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot.
  • Experience supporting tenders, framework opportunities or public sector bids.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a business helping households access warmer, more energy-efficient homes.
  • Play a key role in supporting the UK's transition to Net Zero.
  • Work across a growing, high-profile area of the business with significant growth ambitions.
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals across marketing, operations, commercial and programme delivery teams.
  • Have the opportunity to shape campaigns that create a real social and environmental impact.

At Next Energy, we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected, valued and empowered to succeed.
