Join us to lead high-quality, compliant retrofit projects that improve homes while preserving their historic character.\nThe Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of retrofit and energy improvement works across multiple sites. Reporting into the operational management team, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered in line with programme requirements, health & safety standards, project timelines and customer expectations.\nAt Next Energy, we're helping households across the UK reduce energy costs, improve home comfort and lower carbon emissions through energy-efficient heating, insulation and renewable energy solutions.\nWhat you'll be doing\nOverseeing day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.\nSupervising subcontractors and site teams.\nEnsuring compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures.\nCoordinating labour, materials, equipment and site logistics.\nCarrying out site inspections and quality checks.\nMonitoring project progress and reporting on performance.\nWorking closely with residents, customer liaison teams and stakeholders.\nManaging site-related issues, delays and operational challenges.\nAttending project meetings and supporting delivery planning.\nMaintaining site records and compliance documentation.\nWhat we'll need from you\nEssential\nPrevious experience in a Site Manager role within retrofit, construction or energy efficiency projects.\nStrong understanding of health & safety legislation.\nAbility to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors.\nStrong leadership and communication skills.\nSMSTS certification.\nCSCS Black Manager Card.\nFirst Aid at Work certification.\nValid UK Driving Licence.\nDesirable\nExperience managing social housing refurbishment or retrofit projects.\nExperience working in occupied homes.\nExperience delivering SHDF, LAD, HUG, ECO or Warm Homes programmes.\nExperience with listed or heritage buildings.\nTemporary Works Awareness, Scaffold Inspection and Face Fit Testing qualifications.\nWhy join Next Energy?\nAt Next Energy, our work goes beyond installing energy solutions.
