This position will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the inventory and will coach team members on the importance of quality work performance, as well as, work to ensure superior customer service.\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES\nEnsure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage\nHandle specific customer orders to ensure accurate picking and shipment\nAssist in physical inventories\nCoordinate with other departments within the warehouse to ensure efficient product flow\nEnsure proper stock rotation and all supplies needed for the warehouse are available for use (RF units, batteries, equipment, etc.)\nEvaluate warehouse associates on picking and put-away procedures and monitors their progress\nLead and attend meetings to discuss quality of work-level and improvement opportunities. Constant teaching, coaching, and improvement learning provided by this individual\nDocument attendance and participate in reviews for team members, coach, train and mentor Distribution Center (DC) team members in the areas of productivity, quality and safety\nHandle and resolve conflict, process team member requests, engage team members proactively and lead team building activities\nUpdate status of daily tasks, manage reports, team member assessments, issues or concerns, equipment status, and process adjustments\nOperate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods\nComply with OSHA and MSDS Standards\nEnsure warehouse flow and planning\nMaintain the facility’s equipment and materials and a clean, neat, and orderly work area\nMINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS\nTwo to five years of recent work experience \nExcellent communications skills (Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently)\nMust be a self-starter and possess excellent customer service skills \nAbility to perform basic mathematical equations (i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) \nMust be detail oriented and highly organized\nOSHA and/or Class II, Class IV or Class V Forklift Certification preferred\nWORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT)\nThis position is a hourly, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
