RELOCATION NOT INCLUDED\nmajor responsibilities\nCoordinate with drayage providers to deliver daily inbound containers based on priority\nReceive shipment tenders from store support planning team and work with warehouse operations to plan weekly shipments with carriers\nShip and track outbound shipments to stores and troubleshoot any delivery issues\nReport key performance metrics of carriers to Director of NA Logistics\nPartner with operations to develop and improve processes associated with outbound shipments from the DC’s and receiving processes\nDevelop key metrics to measure employee performance and perform annual reviews with employees\nParticipate in the enlistment of talent into the company by building partnerships with local organizations and school programs related to logistics activities \nLead a team of coordinators in positions that require concise planning, tactful execution, constant direction, working relations and impeccable timing to deliver exceptional results\nAnalyze and identify opportunities for better performance of drayage providers\nProvide weekly metrics to warehouse managers. Evaluate outbound carriers’ performance and provide feedback to store support team\nProvide ongoing training and learning sessions to maximize results of the team and develop team members to become leaders\nMinimum Eligibility Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)\nThree to five years of relevant experience required\nWorking knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety rules strongly preferred\nProficiency with software applications and transportation systems\nPrevious supervisory or management experience\nStrong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills\nAbility to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment\nDemonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers and staff at all organizational levels\nSubject to National Security screening.\nWorking Conditions (travel, hours, environment)\nLimited travel required including air and/or car travel\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
