The Supervisor will coach employees on the importance of quality work performance, accuracy, efficiency and execution of Company programs/standards.\nMinimum Eligibility Requirements\nBachelor’s degree (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)\nThree years of relevant experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company\nProven problem-solving and team building skills\nExcellent organizational skills\nStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite\nWorking knowledge of WMS system\nHas exempt level experience involving various Logistics, Distribution and Warehouse\nExperience managing 10-20 Employees\nWorking knowledge of Manhattan Logistics Distribution Systems\nMust be detail oriented and organized\nMust have strong strategic skills and work well under pressure\nAbility to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment\nLift, push, pull and/or carry tools, objects or equipment above shoulder level without assistance\nEssential Job Functions\nKeep appropriate records and reports to maintain inventory accuracy\nAssist in physical inventories/cycle counts\nDocument attendance and participate in reviews for employees\nCoach, train and mentor Distribution Center employees in the areas of Safety and Loss Prevention\nManage and resolve conflict, process employee requests, engage employees proactively and lead team building activities\nManage/oversee the claims management process for the Facility\nConduct directed Safety audits and report findings to appropriate leadership\nPromote, monitor, and enforce safe work practices and a safe work environment by monitoring and testing alarm systems, fire systems, and fire suppression equipment for proper operation\nConduct security inspections on building, grounds, yard, and trailers\nMonitor inbound and outbound trailers entering and exiting the yard via computer applications\nDocument accidents at the facility and ensure reports are accurate and complete\nConduct research and report unusual activity to appropriate management (i.e., Proper Lifting, Proper Use of PPE/Fall Protection)\nMonitor and maintain awareness as it relates to environmental related exceptions (i.e., Hazmat, storm water, waste)\nObserve, audit, comply with all OSHA, CTPAT/FTZ, Fire and Preventive Safety requirements\nUpdate status of daily tasks, manage reports, employee assessments, issues or concerns, equipment status and process adjustments\nOperate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods\nEnsure all Lift Equipment Operators have been trained and certified to Company Standards\nWorking Conditions (travel, environment)\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
