Responsibilities\nMaintenance Planning\nReview incoming maintenance work requests and convert approved requests into properly scoped work orders.\nDevelop detailed job plans including scope of work, job instructions, required labor and estimated hours, required skills/crafts, parts and materials, special tools, contractor requirements, safety requirements, permits and LOTO considerations, and relevant drawings/manuals.\nConduct field reviews of equipment when necessary to properly define work scope.\nEnsure parts, materials, tools, and documentation are available before work is placed on the schedule.\nIdentify opportunities to improve job plans based on technician feedback and completed work history.\nDevelop reusable job plans for repetitive maintenance activities.\nMaintenance Scheduling\nDevelop weekly maintenance schedules based on equipment priorities, production requirements, available labor, parts availability, and maintenance backlog.\nCoordinate schedules with Maintenance leadership, Operations, Engineering, Reliability, Sanitation, and other affected departments.\nFacilitate or support weekly maintenance scheduling meetings.\nDevelop daily work schedules from the approved weekly schedule.\nBalance available maintenance labor against planned work requirements.\nCoordinate planned equipment downtime with Operations.\nIncorporate preventive, predictive, corrective, project, and improvement work into the maintenance schedule.\nTrack schedule compliance and identify reasons scheduled work was not completed.\nPreventive & Predictive Maintenance\nMaintain and continuously improve the site's preventive maintenance program.\nReview PM frequencies, procedures, equipment history, and failure trends.\nEnsure PM tasks are specific, effective, and focused on preventing identifiable failure modes.\nWork with Reliability, Engineering, and Maintenance leadership to eliminate ineffective or redundant PM tasks.\nRecommend PM changes based on breakdown history, RCA findings, technician feedback, and equipment performance.\nEnsure corrective actions identified through inspections, PMs, and predictive maintenance activities are converted into planned work orders.\nCMMS & Work Order Management\nMaintain accurate work-order information within the CMMS.\nEnsure work orders contain appropriate equipment, asset, failure, labor, material, and completion information.\nMaintain equipment hierarchy and asset information as required.\nMonitor work-order backlog and work-order aging.\nMaintain a ready-to-schedule backlog of fully planned work.\nReview completed work orders for quality and completeness.\nUse equipment history to support reliability and continuous improvement efforts.\nMaintain accurate PM schedules, frequencies, job plans, and maintenance procedures.\n Control Maintenance Cost weekly basis through work order management ( parts, labor and services)\nStoreroom Coordination\nIdentify parts and materials required for planned maintenance activities.\nCoordinate with Storeroom/Purchasing to ensure materials are available prior to scheduled execution.\nReserve or kit parts for scheduled maintenance work.\nIdentify critical spare-part requirements based on equipment criticality and maintenance history.\nHelp reduce emergency parts purchases through improved planning.\nProvide BOM and equipment spare-parts information when available.\nBreakdown & Reliability Support\nReview recurring equipment failures and breakdown history.\nSupport Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and 5-Why investigations.\nEnsure corrective actions resulting from RCAs are entered into the CMMS, planned, and scheduled.\nReview existing PM tasks following significant equipment failures to determine whether an effective preventive task exists.\nWork with Maintenance and Engineering to develop or modify PMs when failure modes are not adequately addressed.\nIdentify repetitive corrective maintenance that should be converted into preventive, predictive, or improvement work.\nQualifications\nRequired\n3-5+ years of industrial maintenance, maintenance planning, reliability, or related manufacturing experience.\nStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical industrial maintenance.\nExperience working with CMMS systems and maintenance work orders.\nUnderstanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.\nAbility to read equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.\nStrong organizational and scheduling skills.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across Maintenance and Operations.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other standard business applications.\nPreferred\nPrevious Maintenance Planner/Scheduler experience in a manufacturing environment.\nFood manufacturing or other high-speed production experience.\nExperience with SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix, eMaint, MaintainX, or similar CMMS/EAM platforms.\nExperience with reliability-centered maintenance, failure-mode analysis, RCA, and 5-Why methodology.\nExperience developing equipment BOMs and critical-spares strategies.\nFamiliarity with predictive technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, and oil analysis.\nKnowledge, Skills & Competencies\n Knowledge about Maintenance and Reliability Measures (Lagging & Leading Measures - OEE, MTBF,etc…)\nStrong planning and organizational discipline.\nEquipment troubleshooting knowledge.\nAbility to prioritize work based on equipment criticality and business impact.\nUnderstanding of maintenance and reliability principles.\nStrong attention to detail.\nEffective communication with technicians, supervisors, engineers, and production leadership.\nAbility to
