Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to assisting architects, contractors, designers, and homeowners with tile selection, generating sales, and be that continued go to resource for their customer needs for mutual success. The position is also responsible for all sales merchandising, technical information, customer product knowledge, and evaluating the area’s market needs and business conditions in their territory.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nTarget, call on, and develop relationships with architects, designers, builders, contractors, dealers, and other channels\nDevelop and maintain a trade client base via in-house meeting(s) as well as telephone and internet communications\nProactively identify new opportunities and sales channels\nIdentify and establish relationships with top architectural and design firms.\nMaintain architectural libraries clean and well-organized, replacing outdated sample tools and placing new products as they are available.\nDevelop and execute presentations/CEUs.\nMeet & exceed an established sales budgeted on a monthly basis to meet annual goals\nSet up product displays and modify as appropriate\nIntroduce and successfully initiate company programs and new product introductions\nAssess competitors, their product lines and strategies. Compile a library of their product catalogs, spec sheets, etc., and keep the Branch Manager. informed of their activity\nProspecting, qualifying and establishing new customers\nEvaluate product field complaints and resolve them in accordance with company guidelines\nParticipate in industry associations and activities, i.e. ASID, IIDA, and NEWH.\nOther duties as assigned\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills\nAt least three years of direct sales experience\nBachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred\nComputer literacy\nAbility to achieve company goals with little supervision\nOverall analysis of the total and individual markets in order to set goals, plan and execute market research, forecasting sales and establishing new markets.\nDevelopment, planning and the execution of yearly business plan.\nFrequent travel within territory and valid driver’s license required\nFlorida Tile provides an array of benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
