Responsible for all functions of branch sales, operations and administration. Responsibilities include direct sales activities, sales management (including commercial), inventory management, marketing and personnel. The Branch Manager’s main purpose is to effectively manage these functions in order to achieve sales, margins, product mix and NOI goals.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSales and Sales Management\nDevelop, administer and execute marketing plan to achieve sales, margin and product mix goals\nKnowledge of the local competition in the market in order to develop appropriate plans\nEstablishing and maintaining strong customer relationships\nMake direct sales calls on customers and manage all sales representatives assigned to their branch including Outside Sales Representatives and Branch Commercial Sales Specialists.\nManage pricing in accordance with market and with company policy.\nManage marketing materials according to budget in order to achieve maximum return.\nOperations and Administration\nManage inventory by having the correct product mix and levels, order appropriate products, conduct periodic physical inventories, monitor slow moving items, and account for breakage and adjustments\nSupervising and assisting with day-to-day sales and customer service activities\nPerform administrative tasks related to branch operations.\nUtilize effective interpersonal communication and leadership skills in the employee selection, discipline and performance management process\nMaintain expenses within the budget, make collection calls as needed, manage accounts receivable, review and approve payables, analyze monthly statements/reports and develop processes to keep expenses within the branch.\nConduct periodic training with staff as needed\nAdminister and enforce company policies\nOverall responsibilities for maintaining branch equipment and facilities.\nAdditional duties as assigned\nSome travel required\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nAt least three years of managing sales, operations, and staff in a business related to building materials or construction\nValid driver’s & ability to travel within designated territory required\nBachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nComputer literacy\nAbility to understand financial and P&L statements\nAbility to achieve company goals with little supervision\nDemonstrated leadership abilities\nFlorida Tile provides an array of benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
