The Outside Sales Representative is also responsible for all sales merchandising, technical information, customer product knowledge, and evaluating the area’s market needs and business conditions in their territory. They will also act as a business consultant to their customers for selling efficiency and market growth.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nTarget, call on, and develop relationships with major builders, contractors, dealers, architects, designers and other channels\nMeet & exceed an established sales budgeted on a monthly basis to meet annual goals\nSet up product displays and modify as appropriate\nIntroduce and successfully initiate company programs and new product introductions\nAssess competitors, their product lines and strategies. Compile a library of their product catalogs, spec sheets, etc., and keep the Branch Manager. informed of their activity\nProspecting, qualifying and establishing new customers\nEvaluate product field complaints and resolve them in accordance with company guidelines\nUse and maintain knowledge of SAP\nNotify branch management when samples are low\nOther duties as assigned\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills\nAt least three years of direct sales experience\nBachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred\nComputer literacy\nAbility to achieve company goals with little supervision\nOverall analysis of the total and individual markets in order to set goals, plan and execute market research, forecasting sales and establishing new markets.\nDevelopment, planning and the execution of yearly business plan.\nFrequent travel within territory required\nFlorida Tile provides an array of benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
