FloSports is creating the home for college conferences/leagues and sports like grappling, hockey, track & field, racing, cheer, wrestling, and more, and we are looking for innovative and passionate people like you to help us!\nTHE ROLE:\nThe Senior Accountant is responsible for processing accounting transactions, compiling and analyzing financial reports, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, and providing ad hoc analyses. This position will have tremendous exposure to all aspects of the accounting cycle. The position requires an individual who has a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, general accounting processes and internal controls, and financial analysis tools and techniques.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nProcess journal entries and other accounting transactions\n\nProcess expense report transactions\n\nPerform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts\n\nMaintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger\n\nOrganize and maintain accounting files and records\n\nPerform monthly financial statement analytics\n\nAssist with the year-end audit\n\nParticipate in special projects to improve efficiency of accounting processes\n\nRespond to requests for financial/accounting information from all business functions\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting\n\nMinimum 2-5 years accounting experience\n\nKnowledge of GAAP principles\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills\n\nSuperior organization skills\n\nProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)\n\nFocus on managing time well and multi-task\n\nTeam player and ability to collaborate with other departments\n\nDetailed oriented\n\nSelf-starter with ability to work independently\n\nAbility to adapt in an environment where change is a constant\n\nPrior experience with NetSuite, Ramp, and Tipalti\n\nOUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY:\nAt FloSports, we are bonded by our passion for sports and our purpose to unite communities around experiences that finally give underserved sports the love they deserve.
