As an Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will report directly to the CFO and own financial planning and analysis, supporting strategic decision-making during a critical stage of growth and product evolution.\nYou’ll partner closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver insights that drive performance and long-term value creation. This is a hands-on role for an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager professional who can own the planning process from day one.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nBuild and maintain the company’s integrated financial model and forward-looking forecasts\nLead the annual budget, forecasting, and reforecasting processes, including monthly budget-vs-actual variance analysis\nPrepare board, investor, and leadership reporting packages\nPartner with business teams on performance analysis and support go-to-market and product analytics\nPartner with our PE sponsor on reporting and ad hoc analysis needs\nPartner with the Controller to ensure forecasts and management reporting tie to the accounting records\nDevelop dashboards and business intelligence reporting\nUse AI tools to automate reporting, modeling, and analysis, and continually improve Financial Planning and Analysis efficiency\nProvide ad hoc analysis for strategic initiatives\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred\n5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a hands-on Financial Planning and Analysis role owning budgeting, forecasting, and modeling\nFinancial services, fintech, or PE-backed environment experience strongly preferred\nDue to the nature of this position, as part of the background check process, candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA. For roles requiring registration, additional regulatory screenings may apply, including a review of Form U5 disclosures and other relevant licensing information.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBanking, PE, or consulting experience, ideally combined with in-house Financial Planning and Analysis experience\nUnderstanding of financial services business models (e.g., broker-dealer, lending, insurance) and FINRA reporting requirements\nFINRA Series 27 license\nExposure to high-growth or data-driven environments\nAdvanced financial modeling, analytical, and data interpretation skills; experience with Financial Planning and Analysis planning and BI/dashboard tools\nDemonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., LLMs and AI-enabled planning, BI and modeling tools) to automate processes and improve efficiency\nAbility to connect financial insights to business decisions, understand their financial impact, and balance that with business partner satisfaction\nAbility to make accurate, independent decisions based on data\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask;
