You will be able to take ownership of core accounting processes while helping build the foundation for scalable operations.\nAbout the Role\nFlourish is transitioning to a standalone, PE-backed organization. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role on our finance team, reporting to the Controller and supporting the execution of core accounting operations and financial processes during a critical stage of growth.\nYou’ll ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, support audits, and partner across the organization to contribute to building scalable infrastructure aligned with long-term growth.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nExecute month-end close tasks and support financial reporting, including GAAP financial statement preparation and KPI reporting accuracy\nPrepare journal entries and reconciliations\nRecord and reconcile banking transactions, payroll, and other HR-related expenses, and support cash flow, liquidity, and debt covenant reporting as needed\nManage the AP, credit card, and TE process\nSupport audit and compliance processes\nSupport broker-dealer regulatory reporting (e.g., net capital, FOCUS filings) under the direction of the Controller\nProvide accounting data and analysis to support the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager’s annual budget and periodic forecasting\nPartner with cross-functional teams on financial data\nIdentify process improvements and automation opportunities, including through AI tools\nSupport carve-out efforts and TSA exit\nSupport system design and readiness efforts, i.e., UAT\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting\n2+ years of accounting experience in a financial services, fintech, or PE-backed environment strongly preferred\nDue to the nature of this position, as part of the background check process, candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA.
