You will collaborate closely with the finance team, vendors, and other departments within the organization to maintain efficient accounts payable operations.\nResponsibilities\nEnsure the accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments in compliance with company policies and procedures\nReview and approve invoices, ensuring appropriate coding, documentation, and authorization before processing for payment\nManage vendor relationships, including addressing inquiries, resolving discrepancies, managing the vendor shield process and negotiating favorable payment terms when applicable\nReconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies or variances with vendors or internal stakeholders\nMonitor and maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions, including maintaining vendor files, payment history, and supporting documentation\nDevelop and implement accounts payable processes, procedures, and controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations\nCollaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate accruals, month-end closing, and financial reporting related to accounts payable\nStay updated with changes in accounting regulations, best practices, and technology related to accounts payable, recommending and implementing process improvements when applicable\nProvide support during internal and external audits, assisting in the preparation of audit schedules and addressing audit queries\nCoordinate with property management teams to resolve tenant billing and collection issues\nIdeal Background\nBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field\n4 -
