In this role, you will be responsible for budget adherence, monthly reporting, compliance and documentation, and process enhancements.\nResponsibilities\nCollaborate effectively with project managers, finance teams, and department heads to monitor and track CapEx projects spanning various business lines \nDevelop, implement, and oversee control procedures and forms to effectively track and report capital expenditures\nMaintain comprehensive records of all CapEx projects, encompassing project specifics, budgets, change orders, and key financial metrics\nCollaborate closely with Property Management on a daily basis to manage changes, streamline process flow, and develop a robust tracking system for monitoring related CapEx items\nUnderstand and document processes within the CapEx workstream, including operational and financial controls\nMonitor spending associated with each CapEx project to ensure alignment with approved budgets, identifying and addressing discrepancies promptly \nRegularly review/reconcile financial data against accounting records, report discrepancies to Controller, and take corrective action as needed\nEnsure accurate and timely capitalization of eligible expenditures in accordance with accounting standards, reflecting them appropriately in the general ledger\nPrepare and deliver regular reports on the financial status and progress of CapEx projects to senior management and relevant stakeholders\nConduct variance analyses and offer recommendations to enhance financial performance and project efficiency\nIdeal Background\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance \n5-7+ years of experience in Accounting or Financial Management \nStrong analytical and problem solving skills\nAttention to detail, precision, and the ability to work with complex financial data\nKnowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP;
