This position is responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining wastewater treatment equipment at customer locations.\nThe ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is comfortable interacting with customers on a daily basis. This is a customer-facing position where strong communication skills and a professional attitude are just as important as technical ability.\nKey Responsibilities\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and related systems.\nPerform scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency service calls at customer locations.\nIdentify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other equipment issues and determine appropriate repairs.\nInstall, replace, and adjust pumps, motors, controls, valves, piping, and other wastewater system components.\nCommunicate directly with customers regarding equipment issues, repairs, service recommendations, and system operation.\nProvide professional, courteous customer service while representing Watermark / SOS in the field.\nComplete accurate service reports, documentation, and maintenance records.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nFollow company safety procedures and applicable wastewater industry requirements.\nCoordinate with customers and the internal team to ensure service needs are addressed efficiently.\nTravel to customer sites as needed to perform service and repairs.\nContinue developing technical knowledge of wastewater treatment systems and equipment.\nQualifications\nPrevious experience in wastewater, water treatment, industrial maintenance, mechanical service, or a related field is preferred.\nStrong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nElectrical or controls experience is a plus.\nAbility to read and understand equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.\nComfortable using hand tools, power tools, meters, and other service equipment.\nStrong communication and customer-service skills.\nAbility to work independently while also being part of a team.\nReliable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple service calls and priorities.\nValid driver's license and acceptable driving record.\nAbility to work outdoors and in a variety of field conditions.\nAbility to safely lift, carry, climb, bend, kneel, and perform the physical requirements associated with field service work.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe're looking for someone who likes fixing things and enjoys working with people.
