Responsibilities\nRead and interpret isometric drawings, spool drawings, and fabrication work orders to determine layout, cutting, and assembly requirements.\nFit, align, and fabricate thermoplastic pipe spools using infrared, butt, and socket fusion welding equipment.\nMeasure, mark, and cut pipe and fittings to the required dimensions and tolerances.\nInspect completed joints and spools for quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with applicable specifications.\nMaintain accurate documentation, including bonder qualification records, traveler notations, and fusion logs.\nOperate and maintain fusion equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safe operation.\nCollaborate with fabrication engineers, shop management, and quality personnel to resolve fit-up issues or drawing discrepancies.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with shop safety standards.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts related to fabrication quality, throughput, and process consistency.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n2+ years of experience fitting and fabricating pipe, preferably in thermoplastic materials (PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF, HDPE).\nHands-on experience with infrared, butt, and socket fusion welding equipment.\nAbility to read and interpret isometric drawings, spool drawings, and piping specifications.\nWorking knowledge of pipe fitting tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality, code-compliant work.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced fabrication shop environment.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with fusion data logging systems (e.g., GF CONNECT, McElroy DataLogger).\nExposure to ASME B31.3 process piping requirements or other code-driven fabrication environments.\nExperience fabricating for water/wastewater, semiconductor/high-purity, or chemical processing end markets.\nPrior experience in a formal quality system environment (ISO 9001 or similar).\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.\nAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods.\nAbility to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, heat, and fumes typical of a fabrication facility.\nUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.\n\nWork Schedule\nFull-time, first shift, with occasional overtime based on production
