Services are performed on-site and on-demand to ensure complete customer satisfaction.\nEssential Functions\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nPerform daily equipment checks to diagnose and repair problems with compressed air and vacuum equipment before they occur.\nPerform annual and semi-annual maintenance and testing on compressed air and vacuum systems.\nRespond to emergency calls during normal operating hours and outside of normal operating hours.\nProgram, troubleshoot microprocessor and PLC-based equipment controls.\nResolve customer-initiated technical issues.\nAbility to start up and troubleshoot compressed air and vacuum equipment.\nWork at customer site.\nBuild and maintain client relationships.\nServe as a technical resource to customers.\nPartner with company sales representatives and management to increase service and aftermarket business.\nAbility to travel to assist other company technicians as needed.\nComplete daily reports and maintenance checklists as required and send them to the customer and company admin team.\nCandidates with prior field experience with compressed air systems are encouraged to apply. Factory certifications for any type of compressed air equipment are not mandatory but would be beneficial.\nCompetencies\nStrong Mechanical and Problem-Solving Skills.\nGood Communication, Customer Service and Consultative Skills.\nStrong work ethic with ability to work under minimal supervision.\nReliable and punctual\nAble to use a computer and service software.\nMust have own hand tools; however, the company can furnish.\nCompany service truck provided.\nMust live within 1 hour of the Greensboro, NC facility.\nWilling to train the right candidate.\nRequired Education and Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMust have Mechanical Aptitude.\nPrevious work history with a service-based organization.\nAdditional Eligibility Qualifications\nCertifications, such as Asse 6040, preferred but not required.\nThe ability to pass government background checks and regular drug screening.\nRefrigeration Experience a plus but not required.\nRequired License and Certifications\nMust have a valid, unexpired driver’s license.\nGood driving record.\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, but the candidate must be able to work flexible hours. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.\nTravel\nLocal travel is expected with this position 100% of the time.\nWork Environment\nThis job operates in Hospital Facilities, Industrial Plant or Service Shop environments. This role routinely uses hand and power tools as well as office equipment such as laptop computers, and smartphones. \nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This position would require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted occasionally.
