precision measuring tools.\nRead and interpret pump drawings, assembly drawings, manuals, and specifications.\nPerform pump alignment using dial indicators, laser alignment equipment, or other precision tools.\nInspect repaired equipment to ensure proper fit, clearances, tolerances, and operating condition.\nAssist with testing pumps and equipment after repairs.\nOperate shop equipment and tools, including overhead cranes, forklifts, presses, grinders, drills, hydraulic equipment, and other mechanical equipment.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\nComplete work orders, inspection reports, repair documentation, and parts lists accurately.\nIdentify additional repair requirements and communicate findings to supervisors or management.\nFollow established repair procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.\nAssist with field service or emergency repairs when needed.\nProperly handle, store, and dispose of oils, solvents, chemicals, and other shop materials.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nMechanical experience in an industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, pump, or rotating-equipment environment.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.\nAbility to read basic mechanical drawings and understand equipment specifications.\nAbility to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other shop equipment.\nAbility to lift, move, and work around heavy industrial equipment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team.\nReliable attendance and a strong work
