The position also includes preparing essential documentation, layout drawings, and providing support for project completion.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTechnical Drawing & Layout Creation:\nCreate detailed technical drawings, schematics, and 2D models of mechanical equipment designs using AutoCAD 2D/3D\nDevelop design drawings based on measurements, specifications, and data provided by engineers.\nEnsure all technical drawings are accurate, up to date, and meet required standards.\nData Collection & Integration:\nGather initial drawings, calculations, and design ideas from engineers, clients, and other stakeholders.\nCombine all relevant data into complete, coherent initial design models, ready for review and modification.\nCollaboration & Coordination:\nCoordinate with design engineers and other stakeholders to ensure understanding of project requirements.\nVerify design details and suggest modifications or improvements according to company standards and best practices.\nRegularly meet with engineers to review designs and provide input for optimising solutions.\nDetailed Engineering Drawings:\nPrepare detailed civil engineering drawings, including structural, mechanical, and piping layouts.\nEnsure that piping layout drawings are complete with accurate specifications and include Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for pipes and fittings.\nEquipment & Plant Room Layout:\nCreate complete equipment layouts and plant room drawings for all types of engineering projects.\nEnsure layouts reflect the most efficient and effective use of space and comply with safety standards.\nDocumentation Preparation:\nPrepare essential project documentation, such as:\n Datasheets for equipment and materials.\n Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).\n As-built drawings for final project implementation.\n Operation manuals that include detailed instructions for the use and maintenance of equipment.\nQuality Assurance:\nMaintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all drawings and documentation.\nRegularly review and revise designs to ensure they meet the necessary safety, quality, and regulatory standards.\nProblem Solving & Design Optimisation:\nIdentify design issues or inefficiencies and provide creative, cost-effective solutions.\nContinuously work to improve engineering processes for better productivity and cost savings.\nClient & Stakeholder Communication:\nCommunicate effectively with clients, architects, and consultants to discuss design, drawings, and project modifications.\nParticipate in design reviews, ensuring that all technical specifications align with client requirements.\nProject Support:\nProvide ongoing support to the project team, ensuring that drawings and documentation are up to date and align with project milestones.\nTrack the progress of drawings, making sure they are completed on time to meet project deadlines.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\nExpertise in drafting, with a strong focus on creating precise and detailed technical drawings for mechanical, civil, and piping systems.\nSoftware Operating Skill:\nProficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D for creating detailed designs and technical drawings.\nStrong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation, communication, and project tracking.\nSkills Required:\nExcellent Interpersonal Skills\nGood
