The role ensures accurate inventory records, timely material availability for projects, and proper coordination with purchase, accounts, and project teams.\nKey Responsibilities:\nStore & Inventory Management\nReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials as per Purchase Order, Delivery Challan, and Invoice.\nEnsure proper storage, identification, and labelling of materials, spares, tools, and consumables.\nMaintain accurate stock records (inward, outward, balance) both physically and in system (ERP/Excel).\nConduct regular stock verification and reconciliation with system records.\nEnsure FIFO method is followed for issue of materials.\n\nMaterial Issue & Control\nIssue materials to projects, technicians, and departments against approved requisitions.\nMonitor minimum stock levels and inform concerned departments for reordering.\nControl excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory and report the same periodically.\nAt the time of dispatch, ensure that all materials are physically counted and verified in the presence of the responsible person handling dispatch. The quantity should match the delivery challan and invoice.\n\nDocumentation & Records\nMaintain all store-related documents such as GRNs, issue slips, return notes, stock registers, and gate passes.\nCoordinate with Accounts for invoice verification, stock valuation, and audit requirements.\nPrepare periodic stock reports and submit to management as required.\nAfter dispatching the material, it is mandatory to:\nObtain a signed and stamped copy of the delivery challan.\nCollect the acknowledged tax invoice/bill.\nMaintain proper records of all dispatch documents.\n\nCoordination & Compliance\nCoordinate with Purchase team for material follow-ups and delivery schedules.\nCoordinate with Project, Service, and technical teams for material planning and usage.\nEnsure proper housekeeping, safety, and discipline in the store area.\nFollow company SOPs, audit requirements, and statutory compliance related to stores.\nEnsure proper coordination with the logistics team for timely and safe dispatch of materials.\nSupervise and manage all third-party labour involved in loading activities.
