Working directly with the CFO, you will turn accounting expertise into reliable financial information and a more efficient way of running finance.\nYou will work in a lean finance team, preparing the work, resolving accounting questions, and leading relationships with auditors and external advisers. You will also decide how our processes and systems should evolve. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through on the details, and enjoys having the authority to make improvements.\nAi and automation will be central to your approach. Alongside full accounting ownership, there is room to contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and operating decisions. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a top-tier accounting function and grow their impact across finance.\nIf you join you will\nOwn daily accounting, the close, general ledger, AP/AR, payroll accounting, and accurate, timely financial reporting.\nBuild scalable accounting policies, controls, documentation, and recurring processes.\nLead technical accounting across revenue recognition, deferred revenue, equity compensation, multi-entity reporting, and capitalization.\nImprove finance systems and integrations to reduce manual work and support growth.\nApply AI to reconciliations, reporting, collections, and analysis, with measurable improvements and appropriate review.\nOwn billing and collections, resolve customer issues, and maintain visibility into cash and upcoming payments.\nManage audits and coordinate tax and compliance work with external advisers.\nPartner with the CFO on forecasting, budgets, monthly reporting, and board and investor materials.\nWork with Legal, Sales, and Operations on contract terms, billing arrangements, and approvals\nWhat success looks like in six months\nA dependable close and reporting process, with reconciled accounts, documented policies, and clear ownership of recurring work.\nMore accurate and timely billing, a consistent collections cadence, and clear visibility into receivables and cash.\nAI and automation embedded in recurring workflows, with measurable improvements in manual effort, accuracy, or speed.\nA useful monthly view of actuals versus budget and an active partnership with the CFO on forecasting and business performance.\nWhat we are looking for\n5-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 or equivalent audit experience\nStrong US GAAP knowledge and practical experience with SaaS or subscription revenue accounting. You can make sound judgments, explain your reasoning, and recognize when specialist advice is needed.\nExperience owning a close and working directly with auditors. You are ready to take responsibility for the full accounting function.\nExperience applying AI and automation to real work. You can walk us through a workflow you improved, how you checked the output, and what changed as a result.\nStrong spreadsheet and financial systems skills, attention to detail, and the ability to turn incomplete information into a clear next step.\nClear communication and a strong sense of ownership. You follow issues through to resolution and work well with colleagues outside Finance.\nAdditional strengths\nCPA and/or public accounting experience.\nExperience improving the full process from signed contract to cash collection, or modernizing accounting and billing systems.\nInterest or experience in FP&A, financial modeling, and partnering with department leaders on spending and resource decisions.\nExperience standing up an accounting function from scratch at an early-stage or hyper-scaling company.\nWhy Flowcode\nYou will have meaningful ownership, direct partnership with the CFO, and the opportunity to shape how a growing technology company runs finance.
