The successful candidate will be expected to apply strong software engineering judgement throughout the SDLC and use AI tools to increase delivery speed without compromising quality, security or maintainability.\n\nKey responsibilities\n\nBuild and enhance AI-enabled products using FlowForma’s AI-led SDLC.\n\nTranslate product requirements into robust technical implementations.\n\nUse AI coding agents and development tools to accelerate design, coding, refactoring, testing and documentation.\n\nAct as the human-in-the-loop for AI-generated code, reviewing outputs critically and correcting poor or unsafe implementation.\n\nMake sound technical and architectural decisions at feature level.\n\nOwn delivery from development through testing, deployment and production support.\n\nBuild and maintain APIs, integrations, data flows and backend services.\n\nDevelop and evaluate AI agents, prompts and LLM-driven workflows where relevant.\n\nImplement automated tests and maintain strong regression coverage.\n\nInvestigate and resolve defects, performance issues and production incidents.\n\nContribute to improving the AI SDLC itself, including development patterns, testing, guardrails and engineering practices.\n\nWork closely with Product to convert requirements and user feedback into production-ready capability.\n\nParticipate in technical design reviews and peer review with other engineers.\n\nTechnical profile\n\nStrong software engineering fundamentals.\n\nExperience building production software in a modern development stack.\n\nHands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex or equivalent.\n\nExperience with APIs, cloud services, data integration and distributed application patterns.\n\nStrong testing and debugging skills.\n\nAbility to review AI-generated code and understand when it is structurally wrong, insecure, inefficient or unnecessarily complex.\n\nFamiliarity with LLM applications, agentic workflows, prompt engineering or AI evaluation.\n\nGit-based development and CI/CD experience.\n\nWhat matters most\n\nStrong engineering judgement.\n\nComfortable using AI as an engineering accelerator, not as a substitute for engineering discipline.\n\nAble to operate independently and take ownership of outcomes.\n\nCurious, pragmatic and willing to experiment.\n\nCapable of moving quickly while still producing maintainable software.\n\nComfortable working in an environment where the development process itself is evolving.\n\nDesirable\n\nExperience with Azure / Microsoft cloud technologies.\n\nExperience building SaaS products.\n\nExperience with agent frameworks, orchestration or LLM evaluation.\n\nExperience with observability, telemetry and production monitoring.\n\nExposure to security, compliance, vendor risk or workflow automation domains.\n\nHow success will be measured\n\nSpeed and quality of features delivered through the AI
