This role strengthens reporting accuracy, enhances visibility into revenue and cost drivers, and provides analytical support for budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making. The position is pivotal to improving business performance, business insights and reporting efficiency.\nResponsibilities:\nFinancial Accounting & Reporting\nSupport month-end close through reconciliations, accrual reviews, and variance explanations.\nAssist in preparing financial statements and management reporting packages.\nMaintain balance sheet integrity and support audit and compliance requirements.\nEnsure accuracy of revenue, COGS, and operating expense classifications.\nFinancial Analysis & Business Support\nConduct variance analysis across revenue, COGS, SG&A, and margin drivers.\nPrepare recurring financial performance reports and dashboards.\nSupport budgeting and forecasting processes through data preparation and analytical insights.\nAssist with pricing analysis, profitability reviews, and cost optimization initiatives.\nCollaborate with sales and operations to validate assumptions and explain performance drivers.\nProcess Improvements\nIdentify opportunities to automate reporting processes and development of KPIs.\nImprove data integrity and financial controls.\nTranslate financial data into actionable summaries for business stakeholders.\nCompetencies and Skills:\nCompetencies:\nResourceful and organized; able to produce high quality work in a timely manner\nStrong work ethic and sense of responsibility\nMaintains confidentiality and exercises discretion in handling sensitive financial information\nSkills:\nExcellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nStrong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and trends\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.\nStrong attention to details for accurate financial reporting\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or Equivalent Work Experience\nCPA designation \nExperience:\n3 to 5 years in a similar role. \nExperience working within the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry, preferably in the beverage sector.\nWorking Conditions:\nThis is a Canada-based remote role.
