In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications.\nYou will act as a product specialist (valves product portfolio) in a team and work closely with the sales, development and other specialist departments at the site.\nResponsibilities & Requirements:\n- Prepare quotations by evaluating customers’ requirements and provide quotation responses by sizing, specifying and pricing valves in accordance with customers’ specifications\n- Prepare technically sound and cost-effective quotations, in order to contribute to obtaining related sales and bookings growth\n- Prepare detailed, complete and correct purchase order transfer files for proper transfer into our respective manufacturing operations\n- Participate in bid clarification meetings with the customers\n- Develop a keen understanding of the Flowserve product lines and their respective operations to enhance application engineering, quotation generation and sales support efforts\nPreferred Experience / Skills:\n- Ideally 1-2 years of relevant experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as Inside Sales Representative, Engineer\n- Bsc degree ideally in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business or related field\n- Working proficiency in German and English\n- Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking\n- SAP knowledge Experience
