maintaining exceptional customer support and commercial excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide day-to-day supervision and leadership for the Houston-based Commercial Operations team.\nCoordinate workload distribution and resource allocation to ensure timely response to customer RFQs and commercial inquiries.\nMonitor team performance, productivity, quote turnaround times, and adherence to established KPIs.\nCoach, mentor, and develop Application Engineers and commercial support personnel.\nPromote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer focus.\nDevelop and implement operating processes that enable effective collaboration between Houston-based personnel and Application Engineers located in other countries.\nEstablish standard work, communication protocols, escalation paths, and handoff procedures across regions.\nDrive consistency in quote development, technical reviews, pricing methodologies, and customer communication practices.\nLead initiatives to eliminate organizational silos and ensure a \"one team\" approach across global resources.\nFacilitate regular global team reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate commercial workflows.\nDevelop process documentation, work instructions, governance models, and training materials.\nPartner with business systems teams to improve utilization of commercial tools, CRM platforms, CPQ systems, and reporting capabilities.\nEnsure compliance with corporate policies, commercial procedures, delegation of authority requirements, and applicable regulations.\nSupport continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, and customer responsiveness.\nSupport the team in evaluating and preparing customer RFQs from both technical and commercial perspectives.\nEnsure accurate, competitive, and profitable quotations are delivered on time.\nCollaborate with Sales, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to determine optimal quotation strategies.\nFacilitate resolution of commercial and operational issues that may impact customer commitments.\nSupport critical customer opportunities and strategic projects when escalation or leadership involvement is required.\nServe as the primary local commercial operations leader for the Houston organization.\nFoster strong collaboration among Sales, Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Customer Service, and Manufacturing teams.\nCommunicate business priorities and operational needs across functions.\nSupport organizational change initiatives associated with MOGAS growth and business integration activities.\nEstablish and monitor KPIs related to:\nQuote turnaround time\nWin rate\nWorkload balancing\nProductivity\nProcess compliance\nCustomer responsiveness\nTraining and capability development\nPrepare and present regular business reviews and operational performance reports to Commercial Operations leadership.\nRecommend organizational improvements based on performance data and business needs.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.\nSignificant experience in commercial operations, application engineering, quotation management, or customer-facing industrial environments.\nDemonstrated leadership and people management experience.\nStrong understanding of engineered products and commercial processes.\nExperience working in a global, matrixed organization.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.\nProven ability to drive process improvements and lead change initiatives.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving
