You will carry out and support site commissioning, service and repair jobs at customer sites. This position will be based at Vadodara QRC.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform in-house and on-site repairs and service activities\nAssess problems and take actions to resolve promptly.\nWork side-by-side with our customer’s personnel as required.\nOversee the full cycle of repair: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly.\nEnsure that equipment is installed successfully and on schedule.\nCheck equipment prior to start-up and assess start-up performance.\nMonitor the maintenance and performance of Flowserve equipment.\nTrain customers in the proper procedures for operating and maintaining Flowserve products.\nCollaborate effectively with the supporting organizations of Flowserve, including the customer service, and sales engineering.\nMaintain and submit organized, accurate records, including daily reports, jobs quoted, jobs performed, and time and materials charged.\nKnowledgeable about the industrial applications and operations of pumps, turbines, compressors, seals, actuators, or any rotary equipment.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nElectrical-Instrumentation / Mechanical degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience\nExperience with installing, maintaining mechatronic equipment\nExperience with repairing pump equipment, installing cables/instruments\nProven ability to correctly read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics\nMust be a self-starter with good follow-through, capable of working independently with little supervision\nProficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel\nAble to travel throughout India\nAble to work overtime as required to minimize impact on customers\nPhysical activity is required, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds / 25kg, ascending/descending ladders and staircases, and climbing and reaching in, under, and around large equipment, often outside year-round.\n Preferred Experience / Skills:\n- Strong verbal and written communication skills\n-Instrumentation & Electrical failure analysis background is a plus\n- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word\n- Able to work well with a team\n- Experience serving customers in FMCG/Pharma and other general industries\n- Willingness to travel as needed to customer
