This position is responsible for performing documented inspections, verifying product conformance to drawings and specifications, and supporting quality assurance processes throughout manufacturing, assembly, and testing operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform documented dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of parts and assemblies.\nVerify conformance of materials and components to engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and customer requirements.\nInspect products throughout machining, assembly, and testing operations to ensure quality standards are met.\nDocument inspection results accurately and maintain complete quality records.\nIdentify and document non-conforming conditions using the Quality Notification (QN) process within SAP.\nSupport investigations related to quality concerns, discrepancies, and non-conforming materials.\nReview and verify project quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.\nUtilize inspection equipment and measuring devices to validate dimensional and visual requirements.\nWork closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to address quality concerns.\nAssist in maintaining compliance with applicable industry, customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, process effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.\nPerform additional quality assurance and inspection duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.\nThree to five years of experience in quality inspection, machining, manufacturing, assembly, welding, or related industrial environments.\nKnowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and manufacturing processes.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.\nExperience utilizing precision measuring equipment and inspection tools.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nAbility to identify non-conforming materials and document inspection \nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of welding inspection, welding processes, and quality requirements.\nExperience with Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) methods and inspection techniques.\nFamiliarity with national and international quality standards and regulatory requirements.\nExperience utilizing inspection equipment commonly found in machining, assembly, and testing operations.\nExperience using SAP or similar quality management and ERP systems.\nExperience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).\nKnowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nAt Flowserve, you'll find a range of options to fit your, and your family's, needs.
