The role ensures quality requirements are properly identified and flowed down to procurement, manufacturing, inspection, assembly, testing, and documentation activities.\nThe position works closely with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, Project Management, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure compliance with contractual and technical requirements throughout the project lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare, review, and revise ITPs for API 610 pumps and associated components\n\nInterpret customer quality requirements and incorporate them into ITPs and quality documentation\n\nReview purchase requisitions and technical procurement documents to ensure quality requirements are captured for bought-out items and raw materials\n\nCoordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Project teams on project-specific quality requirements\n\nPrepare inspection and test procedures for component inspection, assembly, hydro testing, performance testing, NDE, painting, preservation, packing, and final release\n\nEnsure compliance with API 610, customer specifications, and applicable codes and standards\n\nParticipate in contract review, KOM, OHM, PIM, and project quality review meetings\n\nSupport internal, customer, and third-party inspections by defining hold, witness, and review points\n\nMonitor specification changes and update ITPs accordingly\n\nSupport closure of quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions\n\nMaintain quality records, inspection formats, and standard templates\n\nContribute to standardization and continuous improvement of ITP preparation processes\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering\n\n3-7 years of experience in Quality, Inspection, or ITP preparation, preferably in pump manufacturing or rotating equipment\n\nExperience in API 610 pump projects preferred\n\nRequired Skills\nStrong knowledge of API 610 pumps and pump components\n\nUnderstanding of inspection and testing requirements for castings, forgings, machined parts, fabricated parts, and assembled pumps\n\nExperience preparing ITPs, quality plans, inspection procedures, and project quality documents\n\nKnowledge of EN 10204 3.1 and 3.2 material certification requirements\n\nKnowledge of NDE methods such as VT, PT, MT, UT, and RT\n\nUnderstanding of welding, heat treatment, hydro testing, performance testing, and final inspection\n\nWorking knowledge of API 610, ASME Sections V, VIII, IX, ASTM, and other relevant standards\n\nExposure to supplier quality requirements and procurement quality flow-down\n\nAbility to identify gaps between customer requirements and project documentation\n\nStrong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills\n\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nASNT Level II or equivalent NDE certification\n\nExposure to ISO 9001 quality management systems\n\nExperience with customer and third-party inspections\n\nKnowledge of ERP or project documentation systems\n\nNuclear experience is an added advantage\n\nBehavioral Competencies\nAttention to detail\n\nOwnership and accountability\n\nCross-functional coordination\n\nCustomer focus\n\nAnalytical thinking\n\nContinuous improvement mindset\n\nKey Deliverables\nAccurate and complete project-specific ITPs\n\nTimely revision and control of quality documentation\n\nProper flow-down of customer and code requirements\n\nReduced quality misses due to incomplete inspection requirements\n\nEffective support for project execution, inspections, and final documentation","description_format":"text","description_chars":3820,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Manufacturing","Energy Efficiency","Industrial Machinery"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-28T19:35:07Z"}],"liveness":{"score":12,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.432,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":63,"expected_fill_days":26,"reasons":["conf:4","win:tail","crowd:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-09-29T04:30:20Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/flowserve-itp-engineer-quality-assurance","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/flowserve-itp-engineer-quality-assurance.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-29T04:30:20Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4256,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":744,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-30T00:00:00Z"}}}
