Role Summary: This position is responsible for assisting the Department Director and APAC tax leadership in the income tax provision, direct tax compliance, audit defense, and tax governance activities for a U.S.-based multinational corporation with operations in Australia, Brunei, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Hongkong, Taiwan, and Thailand. Job Responsibilities Lead the delivery of APAC direct tax reporting and compliance within the BSC/shared-services model, establishing delivery priorities, review standards, work scope, governance routines, escalation protocols, and service expectations across the covered jurisdictions. Own and review quarterly foreign tax packages for APAC legal entities for USGAAP ASC 740 reporting, including current tax calculations, deferred tax calculations, valuation allowance support, effective tax rate drivers, tax account reconciliations and documented management review. Oversee the collection, validation, reconciliation, and governance of legal-entity financial data required for tax provision, statutory reporting, return-to-provision analysis, cash-tax forecasting, and compliance workpapers; coordinate
