Working closely with production, engineering, and operations teams, you will provide technical leadership, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and support the development of safe, efficient, and scalable manufacturing processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan, develop, and improve manufacturing processes involving machining, assembly, testing, and production operations.\nInvestigate capital equipment opportunities, develop business justifications, and manage equipment acquisition and installation projects.\nPartner with Manufacturing Supervisors and Operations teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.\nEvaluate and implement manufacturing methods that improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality.\nEnsure machine programs are available and optimized to support customer requirements and new product introductions.\nCoordinate tooling, fixture, and process requirements to support production demand and operational goals.\nTroubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment issues to minimize downtime and production delays.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.\nTrack assigned capital projects and expenditures to ensure completion on schedule and within budget.\nDevelop and support manufacturing strategic plans and operational improvement initiatives.\nConduct testing, validation, and optimization of new and existing manufacturing processes.\nEnsure all tooling, fixtures, and processes comply with applicable OSHA, environmental, and company requirements.\nSupport subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with Flowserve operational and environmental standards.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related technical field; or 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.\nExperience supporting manufacturing, machining, assembly, testing, or production operations.\nProven ability to drive cost reductions and operational improvements within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or related methodologies.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, operating instructions, and manufacturing procedures.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to collect, analyze, and interpret technical and manufacturing data.\nAbility to present information and recommendations to employees, leadership teams, and customers.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds when required.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nExperience supporting CNC machining operations and manufacturing technologies.\nKnowledge of polymer processing and associated manufacturing methods.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.\nExperience using SolidWorks or similar CAD software.\nStrong data processing, reporting, and statistical analysis capabilities.\nExperience supporting capital equipment installations and manufacturing expansion projects.\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Six Sigma tools.\nExperience working within a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of quality systems, root cause analysis, and process validation methodologies.\n\nWhat We Can Offer You\nAt Flowserve, you'll find a range of options to fit your, and your family's, needs.
