The internship is intended to build a strong pipeline into Flowserve’s MBA Future Leader Program: 2-year rotational experience designed to accelerate the development of high-potential MBA graduates into impactful leadership roles.\nInternship Details\nLocation: Dallas, TX\nTiming: Full-time summer internship for first-year MBA students. \nLevel: MBA Intern. \nFunction Exposure: Business Strategy, Operations, and Portfolio/Product Management. \nWhat You Will Do\nAs an MBA Future Leader Intern, you will work alongside cross-functional leaders on strategic initiatives that support Flowserve’s growth, transformation, and operational performance. Assignments may include:\nSupporting strategic planning, business transformation, market assessment, or growth initiatives. \nAnalyzing operational, supply chain, commercial, or portfolio performance data to identify improvement opportunities. \nContributing to product portfolio, lifecycle management, or innovation projects. \nDeveloping structured business recommendations and presenting findings to project sponsors and leadership. \nPartnering with stakeholders across functions, businesses, and geographies to advance project objectives. \nParticipating in customer engagement, site visits, and business-learning experiences to build understanding of Flowserve’s operations, culture, and global footprint. \nQualifications\nRequired\nCurrently enrolled in a full-time MBA program, with expected graduation in Spring 2028.\nUndergraduate degree in engineering, science, business and/or supply chain. \nThree to six years of prior professional experience in industrial, operations or supply chain, product management, commercial, or related roles.\nDemonstrated leadership potential, strategic thinking, and strong analytical capabilities. \nStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced, cross-functional environment. \nWillingness to travel and, if selected for a future full-time role, relocate for rotational assignments. \nPreferred\nExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous-improvement methodologies. \nExperience working with cross-functional and/or global teams. \nInterest in innovation, industrial technology, and operational excellence. \nWhat You Will Gain\nThrough the internship, you will develop a practical understanding of Flowserve’s business, customers, and global operations while building relationships with leaders and peers across the enterprise.
