This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative severe service control valve technologies, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to products that solve complex customer challenges across critical industries.\nYou will play a key role in product design, technical problem-solving, manufacturing support, and new product development while helping drive reliability, performance, and continuous improvement across the product portfolio.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign engineered-to-order control valve solutions, including severe service trim for high-velocity, high-noise, and challenging process applications.\nCreate engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), calculations, and analyses to support product development and manufacturing.\nSupport new product development initiatives through design, testing, validation, and commercialization activities.\nCollaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, commercial teams, and suppliers to develop and improve valve products and critical components.\nProvide technical support for customers, sales teams, manufacturing personnel, and engineering teams to resolve complex application and production challenges.\nLead sustaining engineering projects focused on improving product performance, quality, cost efficiency, and manufacturability.\nParticipate in design reviews, operational excellence initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.\nMentor engineering team members and document technical knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned to support organizational growth.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience in mechanical product design, product engineering, or engineered-to-order industrial equipment.\nStrong understanding of mechanical design principles, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and engineering analysis.\nExperience creating technical drawings, BOMs, engineering documentation, and design calculations.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex technical issues and support products through design, manufacturing, and testing phases.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional and global teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nExperience with the design or application of control valves, severe service valves, or fluid control equipment.\nExperience with engineering design and simulation tools such as ANSYS, SolidWorks, Windchill, CATIA, or similar systems.\nKnowledge of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), project management principles, and product validation processes.\nExperience leading technical projects, mentoring engineers, and supporting customer-facing technical discussions.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nAt Flowserve, you'll find a range of options to fit your, and your family's, needs.
