The role involves reviewing customer specifications, developing reliable mechanical and mechatronic designs, validating performance through testing and analysis, and delivering high-quality engineering outputs on time.\nJob Responsibilities\nReview customer specifications, reference documents, and design inputs; identify discrepancies and propose suitable technical solutions.\nDevelop and check electrical actuator designs for form, fit, function, manufacturability, assembly, safety, material selection, and operational reliability.\nPrepare detailed drawings, 3D models, BOMs, engineering calculations, analysis reports, and other required technical documentation.\nPerform structural, thermal, vibration, and performance analysis to validate component and actuator designs.\nPlan and execute functional, durability, thermal, environmental, and performance testing for actuators and related systems.\nSupport integration of mechanical, electrical, and control-system elements including sensors, feedback mechanisms, hydraulics, and pneumatics.\nFollow approved engineering standards, design procedures, project specifications, and design-authority guidelines.\nConduct self-checks and participate in critical design reviews for complex assignments.\nCoordinate with customers, GTEC job coordinators, specialists, and team leads on design progress, technical clarifications, and schedule variations.\nSupport continuous improvement through root-cause analysis, FMEA, design optimization, and automation of engineering calculations where applicable.\nMain Objectives\nDeliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective electrical actuator designs meeting customer and project requirements.\nEnsure design quality, accuracy, compliance, and on-time completion of engineering deliverables.\nImprove actuator performance, durability, manufacturability, and serviceability through robust engineering analysis and validation.\nMaintain effective technical communication with internal stakeholders and customers throughout the assignment lifecycle.\nDrive continuous improvement in design processes, testing methods, and engineering documentation.\nJob Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in electrical actuator design or related mechanical/mechatronic product design.\nStrong experience in mechanical design, assembly design, component design, and engineering calculations.\nKnowledge of electrical actuator systems, sensors, feedback mechanisms, and control-system integration.\nExperience in testing and validation, including functional, durability, thermal, environmental, and vibration testing.\nGood understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, and actuators.\nExperience in structural, thermal, and vibration analysis.\nProficiency in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks, including drawings, assemblies, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.\nExperience with Windchill PLM.\nKnowledge of relevant standards such as ASME, API, DIN, and ISO.\nWorking knowledge of Python or MATLAB for calculations, simulations, automation, or data analysis is
