Role Summary

The MRP Planner is responsible for ensuring material and execution readinesstosupportproductionschedulesandcustomerdeliverycommitments.Thisroleconvertstheapprovedmasterscheduleintoanexecutableplanbymanagingmaterialavailability,suppliercommitments,inventory,capacityconstraints,andshipmentforecasts.

Working cross-functionallywithBuyers,ProductionControllers,Manufacturing,andSalesSupportRepresentatives(SSRs),theMRPPlanneridentifiesrisks,drivesrecoveryactions,andensuresproductionplanscanbeexecutedontimeandinalignmentwithcustomerrequirements.

Responsibilities

  • Managematerialreadinessandshipmentforecaststosupportproductionexecutionandcustomerdeliveryperformance.
  • ReviewMRPoutputs,inventorypositions,suppliercommitments,andplanningexceptionstoidentifyandmitigatesupplyrisks.

  • Evaluatematerialandcapacityreadiness,leadshortagemanagementactivities,andcoordinaterecoveryactionstosupportworkorderrelease,productionexecution,andcustomerdeliverycommitments.

  • Leadshortagemanagementandcoordinaterecoveryactionsformaterial,supplier,andcapacityconstraints.
  • PartnerwithBuyers,ProductionControllers,Manufacturing,andSSRstoresolveshortages,delays,andexecutionconstraints.
  • Monitorandcommunicaterisksthatmayimpactproductionschedules,customercommitments,orinventoryperformance.
  • MaintainplanningdatawithintheERPsystem,includingleadtimes,orderpolicies,safetystocklevels,andotherplanningparameters.
  • Supportinventoryaccuracy,engineeringchanges,newproductintroductions,andsuppliertransitions.
  • ParticipateinSIOPandoperationalreviewprocesses,providingvisibilityintomaterialandcapacityrisks.
  • Drivecontinuousimprovementinitiativesthatreduceshortages,expedites,scheduledisruptions,andplanningexceptions.
  • PerformallworkinaccordancewithFlowservesafety,quality,compliance,andoperationalexcellencestandards.

RequiredQualifications

  • Bachelor'sdegreeinSupplyChain,Operations,Business,Engineering,orarelatedfield;equivalentexperiencemaybeconsidered.
  • 3+yearsofexperienceinmaterialplanning,MRPplanning,productioncontrol,orsupplychainoperationswithinamanufacturingenvironment.
  • ExperienceusingERPsystemstomanagematerialrequirements,inventory,purchaseorders,andsuppliercommitments.
  • KnowledgeofMRP,inventorymanagement,capacityplanning,andsupply-demandbalancingprinciples.
  • Stronganalytical,problem-solving,anddecision-makingskills.
  • AdvancedMicrosoftExcelskillsandproficiencywithERPreportingtools.
  • Effectivecommunicationandcollaborationskillsinacross-functionalmanufacturingenvironment.

PreferredQualifications

  • APICS/ASCMCPIMcertificationoractivepursuitofcertification.
  • ExperiencewithSAPS/4HANA.
  • Experienceinengineer-to-order,configure-to-order,make-to-order,orothercomplexmanufacturingenvironments.
  • KnowledgeofSIOP/S&OP,LeanManufacturing,continuousimprovement,andstructuredproblem-solvingmethodologies.
