This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating across teams, and making a direct impact on customer satisfaction and business performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport assigned customers and channel partners by responding to technical and commercial inquiries.\nReview customer requests and specifications to identify appropriate product and application solutions.\nDevelop technical solution proposals that meet customer requirements and applicable standards.\nPrepare accurate cost estimates in collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and other internal teams as needed.\nCreate clear, competitive technical and commercial quotations.\nCoordinate with sales teams and technical specialists to align proposals with customer needs and business objectives.\nReview incoming orders for technical accuracy, commercial terms, and completeness before order processing.\nPrepare complete order documentation and support the transfer of accepted orders to the appropriate internal teams.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field, plus 3-5 years of relevant experience; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.\nExperience in an Applications Engineer, Inside Sales, Technical Sales, Sales Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role.\nAbility to interpret customer requirements and translate them into practical technical and commercial solutions.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and technical judgment skills.\nClear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting industrial equipment, engineered products, or flow control applications.\nExperience preparing technical proposals, quotations, cost estimates, and order documentation.\nWorking knowledge of SAP or another enterprise resource planning system.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nExperience collaborating with sales, engineering, operations, manufacturing, or supply chain teams.\nBenefits\nAt Flowserve, you’ll find a range of options designed to support you and your family’s needs.
